Nomination Confirmed by Democratic Executive Committee
The Democratic executive committee of the 14th senatorial district met at the courthouse in Eastman last Monday at 10 o clock and confirmed the nomination of How Hamilton Clark for senator. Judge C B Murrell chaired the meeting and C E Persons was secretary. Clark accepted in a fitting speech and several leaders spoke briefly. Col J T Hill from Dooly, along with Mr Max Land Wilcox Warren Grice Pulask and W M Clements of Dodge were chosen as the two year executive committee.
