Drayton Ga July 15 Miss Grover daughter of A Wells died Friday morning after a brief illness from pneumonia. The loss saddens a loving father and large family with many friends mourning the untimely passing at a young age.
Marshal G. R. Jaewe observed several men with whiskey jugs on a Saturday afternoon. Detective work by Marshall Mathews led to the arrest of Anderson Lewis after a marked fifty cent piece passed for a bottle of whiskey. Lewis was jailed until Monday when bond was posted by T. A. Ammons awaiting trial.
