S. H. E. Bullock died yesterday afternoon about 2:00 after a short illness and failed operation by Dr. Little of Macon. She leaves an aged husband and two sons, Messrs. and Bert Tarton. Funeral will be at Episcopal church this afternoon with interment in the city cemetery. Miller of Cordele to officiate.

Automobile Party Narrow Escape Near Drayton
A party from this city en route to Americus had a single vehicle accident two miles past Drayton when the EMF car driven by Lewis Whitehead overturned. Passengers Dr J L Lee J E Horne and G L Haslam of Pinehurst and J J Heard and Lewis Whitehead of this city were thrown out. Dr Lee and Mr Haslam were pinned under the car but freed. Robbery at Ponce de Leon Pharmacy by Two Highwaymen
At midnight two young white highwaymen held up Dr G M McMillan proprietor of the pharmacy on Ponce de Leon avenue near Boulevards. They took purses and McMillan's gold watch and keys. wallets had no money. Clerk Carl Morgan assisted as the robbers fled back to the store area before escaping. Police sought a description but made no arrests. Morgan is son of local residents H J Morgan.

In Oglethorpe Georgia on December 18 a six year old visiting boy grabbed a pistol and fired it, killing Miss Mattie Lou Jackson daughter of a local prominent family. The accidental shooting occurred while the child played with the weapon and she died a few hours later.
