Lilly Militia District Established By Dooly County Court
In April 1908 the Dooly County ordinary, after reviewing petitions by J R Bryan T P Busbee and others, ordered a new Lilly Militia District be laid out from parts of districts 585 536 633 with Lilly town as the voting precinct. Commissioners Forehand Butler Bushes reported the lines, starting north east corner of lot 234 2nd district and tracing land lines to Camp Ground Creek then back to the start. A court order published the report for thirty days.
