Rev W H Budd Named Presiding Elder in McRae District
Rev W H Budd missionary secretary of the South Georgia conference was named presiding elder of the McRae district to fill the post vacated by the death of Rev E L Wainwright after an operation in a Macon hospital. Bishop W N Beauchamp announced the appointment and Budd will serve until fall when a permanent successor is named. Budd has led several large South Georgia churches and is well known in southern Methodist circles.
