Rivers Re-Elected Scout Executive of 1923 District
Dublin W W Rivers has been re appointed to lead the Twelfth District as Scout Executive for 1923. He continues as executive of Oco cho County Council, noting growth from two troops in May to twenty three by year end with about 400 scouts in fourteen counties and a goal of fifty troops for 1923. Vidalia public schools will open the spring term on Monday January 9 according to a letter from Superintendent W L Downs. He will be at the school building Friday and Saturday January 5 and 6 to sell entrance cards. parents are urged to obtain cards for their children on those days.
