P M Emmett a prominent Deans area farmer was injured Sunday afternoon when his car was struck by a Dodge driven by Mark Jordan near the Pease river north of the lower bridge. Emmett and his sons were traveling to Oklainton for a Baptist ordination. he is expected to fully recover after medical aid and bed rest.
