Edith Lacy of the College of Industrial Arts is named assistant home demonstrator, joining Miss Wilcox to visit seventeen schools in five days. They will tour Antelope Parsley Haney Paradise Guggisberg Lockett Hinds Fargo Red Bluff Wells Chapel Farmers Valley Midway Tolbert Thompson Guyer Oklainton Harrold, urging full attendance as county fair nears. Prizes reward net profit, record books, history, exhibits, sewing, cooking, and crafts. Twelve girls will accompany Miss Wilcox to the State Fair in Dallas for a four day encampment, with exhibits due from the County Fair. The County Fair ends October 4, two days before the State Fair opens.

Messrs Dee Norwood and Tom Lisman attended a labor day picnic at Colonel Goodnight's ranch near Wichita Falls now owned by W J McCalister. About 300 visitors toured buffalo cattalo and karakule sheep herds and enjoyed barbecued buffalo and mutton, watermelon, and lemonade. Orphans from Buckner's home helped in the program.
