Free Bridge Doubtful in Cotton County-Texas Link
Frederick Leader reports a push for a free bridge across the Red River to draw trade to Wichita Falls. Cotton County officials deny funds, stating highway dollars will be used locally. Oklahoma officials admit past funding errors and the proposal is seen as propaganda to hinder toll bridge plans near Davidson.
