M H Wolfe Survives Fast Train Collision Near Tolbert
M H Wolfe a Wichita Falls merchant escaped death when his Dodge car was struck by a northbound Denver passenger train near Tolbert on a high grade. He jumped clear as the train struck, his car wrecked and dragged about 100 yards. The wrecked vehicle was taken to McFall Brothers shop for inspection while Wolfe planned to buy a new Dodge.

M B Oates, agricultural agent for the Fort Worth and Denver railroad, says egg buyers in Vernon Fort Worth Bowie and Amarillo will pay a premium for infertile eggs this summer. The premium is enough to encourage farmers to produce infertile eggs as fertility in eggs rises in summer, reducing usable food eggs. He notes saving to farmers from infertile eggs is about 10 cents per dozen.
