Uintah Freight Depot Begins Construction at West Main Street

Internal work on a new Uintah Freight depot started this week at the West Main Street site. A. Fred Dipe of Salt Lake City led the meeting with Ron do Sullivan and Duff Swain overseeing the $26,000 project. The 4875 square foot building will include offices and a garage, to be completed in 45 days, matching the Roosevelt depot but about 20 percent larger with a six-truck front loading dock.

Kiwanis Kids Day Parade Opens Saturday With Prizes
