The deadline to file annual claims for refunds of federal excise tax on farm gasoline is September 30. District Director Roland V Wise urged use of Form 2240 for gas used between July 1, 1958 and June 30, 1959. Copies of Form 2240 and Publication 308 are available at Internal Revenue offices in the Odekirk Building.
