Archery Season Closes Sunday in Utah Deer Hunt
Utah announces the archery deer season ends Sunday September 20 with expectations of hunter success rising in late days. Early hunting faced tough stalking due to dry range conditions, while recent statewide storms should aid quiet approaches within shooting range. The archery permit remains valid only during the season ending September 20, and regular deer tags may be filled by permit holders during this hunt. The archery permit is not a special permit and does not prevent buying two additional special deer permits.
