Passing of Uncle Jerry Murray in Monroe County
Jeremiah Murray born July 1844 in Laur en Township Michigan, son of John Murray and Sarah Murray, long Mormon missionary. He served in Black Hawk era defense, helped build the D&RG line, and died after years of hard work and diabetes. He left twelve sons, five daughters, sixty six grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral held at the Maeser Wasí meeting house with interment in Maeser.
