Denver dairy push seen in Ashley valley market
W F Simpson, Denver representative for Windsor Farm Dairy, toured Vernal for a week exploring the Ashley valley dairy scene. The Craig Vernal route opens Denver access, enabling purchase of sweet cream, dairy cream and butter through Calder Brothers creamery. A new Roosevelt creamery is planned to handle all creamery products and make butter. The valley churns about 400 pounds daily with potential to 1200, boosting payroll and profits at 30 cents per pound. The operation aims to ship via specially jacketed cans, cutting two days from Denver transit, expanding dairy stock and fat utilization.

Payment of grazing fees extended by Congress
Supervisor Charles DeMolsy Jr of the Ashley National Forest reports Congress has extended the time to pay grazing fees on National forests for this season to December 1, 1921. The extension aids stockmen with cattle and sheep, allowing sale of salable stock after fall markets and before payment, benefiting both large and small operators though large fees may still be secured by other means.
