Deer hunt and community notes fill Lapoint week
The Lapoint area recounts deer hunts with several bucks taken by multiple locals including Creighton Thompson and Darrel Swain. Community events feature a mutual corn husking party at the ward chapel, a birthday gathering for Mrs Loyal Cox, and visits by Pendants Hartle and families to Vernal. Several residents travel for priesthood meetings, hunting trips, and a Republican tea. A car rollover near Vernal injuries none, and a jeep mishap prompts a missing two-day search.
