Deer Hunter Dies After Accidental Gunshot in Nine Mile Country
Rex Stuart, 23, of a Price area ranch in Nine Mile Country eastern Utah, died after his rifle discharged while crossing a barbed wire fence during a deer hunting trip. He was taken to Price Hospital, died there at 6 p.m. He is survived by his parents, two sisters, and a brother. Funeral services were held in Vernal for Mrs. Elizabeth Moore, a Weber County native, with honor to her long service and family.

Deer Haunting Trip Ends With Car Fire On Diamond Mountain
Dyton Thomas Ralph Alexander and Charles Henderson spent a week in V McKee Draw on Diamond Mountain. While traveling they stopped to deter mine directions near a knoll when their vehicle caught fire causing considerable damage. They returned home for supplies and repairs before resuming their journey.
