Death of Henry Ells Veteran of First Canadian Troops
Henry Ells son of Mr and Mrs John E Bille of Vernal died in a Salt Lake hospital on October 8 from injuries received in the late war. He served with the first Canadian troops and endured gas exposure and a six hour burial in front line trenches. An invalid since, he will be buried Friday beside his brother Lewis in Wasatch Lawn cemetery. Lewis, a Uintah High graduate, died four years ago and was well remembered by friends.
