City Council Holds Short Session Last Wednesday

Relief Society Red Cross Sale Brings In Over Six Hundred Dollars
At the county fair the Stake Heller societies raised over $600 for the Red Cross with a $50 prize from Uintah State Bank awarded to the group earning the most. Mrs John N Davis led the sale. contributing wards include Vernal First and Second Maeser Ashley Naples Glines and more. Several quilts remain to be sold and a quilt won by Aunt Jane McCarroll was returned to First ward for resale. Water main extensions will begin, stretching from Andrew King to Lake Richardson and other planned routes through Bennion and Hatch areas.
