Victory Highway Supporter Visits Utah Governor
A. Harvey Toy of San Francisco, Victory Highway director and former campaign manager for Frentk W Richardson, arrived in Salt Lake at Governor Maddy's invitation. Toy, a Downtown Association leader, heads a California committee raising 150000 for federal aid on the Victory Highway through Utah and Nevada, chiefly to improve Wendover road. He may tour the Uintah Basin and Wendover road with the governor if time allows.

Three buggy animals die in rapid succession
Three well known buggy animals on the Vernon family farm died within ten days of each other. William Vernon owned the first, a buggy horse named Pet, linked to Uintah academy for 16 years. Andrew Vernon’s family used the second horse, Old Chub, famed for speed and gentleness, until its death at the Curtis farm on November 16.
