Ashley Farmer Injured by Tractor in Vernal
A farmer on a farm at Stelnacher Draw, Uintah County, was injured when a tractor he operated turned over. Ashley Farmer Erickson, age unspecified, remained in questionable condition with undetermined internal injuries. The accident occurred late Tuesday. a Wednesday update said his condition was about the same. His daughter, Mrs. C. Lawrence Thorn of Covina California, was notified and is en route to Vernal.

Representatives of the 21 County Committee met in Salt Lake City with Governor J Bracken Lee as an extra member. Vernal Chamber of Commerce urged a propaganda program to inform Americans about Echo Park Dam and to collect telegrams from civic groups in Vernal Uintah and Duchesne counties supporting the project.
