A fire at the Don Pearce residence in Maeser caused smoke and excitement at 11:345 am Sunday. Fire from the furnace spread to the coal bin, with damage estimated at ten to fifteen dollars. A large crowd helped fight the blaze, but it was quickly extinguished.
