War veterans honored in Uintah High School program
A large audience attended an Armistice Day program at Uintah High School with Lt Joe Burn urging unity of all citizens in national service. The event featured selections by the Uinta Miph band directed by Prof J Omanson, flag ceremonies, pledges led by Mrs Manwaring, and a tribute to those serving in defense. An overture by the band preceded a time of silence and a prayer by Chaplain Blaine Lee, with Milburn performing a tenor piece amid audience applause. Continued on Page fives.

Educated at Branch Agricultural College Cedar City Murdock Academy Beaver University of Utah and BYU. He held many local posts including post commander Witbeck Post 11 and served in Uintah County Teachers Association. Married Florence Horrocks in 1926 with five children.
