Oil field activity notes and births announced in Vernal Express
A long list of oil drilling records shows numerous wells in the White River, Red Wash and Wasatch regions with operators including Kerr-McGee, Gulf Oil, Calif. Oil Co., Pan American, Shamrock, and Exeter Drilling Co. Spuds, tests, and completions are noted with depths from about 3,000 to over 8,000 feet, plus hold for data and upcoming measurements. The issue also announces birthday milestones for several local families with free baby portraits offered by Thorne's Studio and publication in The Vernal Express.
