Nearly 100 Youths to Compete In UB Junior Livestock Show
About ninety nine youths are slated to enter the Uintah Basin Junior Livestock Show from June 2 to 4. County agent William C. Whitaker announced the event, with a sale to follow similar to previous years. Darrell Stokes of Wasatch County will judge, and a Jaycees sponsored dinner for entrants is planned.

Ernest Untermann, 85, a longtime artist, has installed the first two of six four by six foot oil murals in the Utah Field House of Natural History lobby. The works depict fossil life from six ages, with scenes from the Carboniferous to archaeology, based on fossils from the Vernal area.
