School Board Plans Health Survey and Bus Arrangements
The board discussed a countywide health survey with a Relief Society committee chaired by Mrs A T Johnson and Mrs Otis Weeks to avoid duplication and coordinate with schools. A Vernal Lions Club delegation asked about bus transport to Green Lakes, with a plan limiting district liability and a twelve cent per mile rate for bus gas while schools pay drivers. The repair program for the coming year was reviewed by Superintendent L Noble, with a special May 22 meeting set to resolve repair and building details.
