The move aims to keep traffic routed through Vernal, not Wyoming, with a chamber resolution endorsing the Kingsby plan amid talks of supporting a related Daggett County permit. The Vernal Chamber of Commerce annual meeting is set for Tuesday at 8 pm with William Winder speaking on Selling the Tourist. A Los Angeles corporation bought American rights to a Swedish heating and tumbling ceramic process for shale oil refining, noting water shortages in arid Utah and Colorado and the need for future water solutions to support any expanded industry.
