Rules for Korean G I training announced by VA

Veterans Administration outlined yardsticks to determine eligibility for Korean GI Bill training. It bars benefits for those who already achieved related objectives through prior schooling, training, or work. It covers farm operations, agriculture courses, teaching jobs, and cases where degrees or prior work negate new training objectives.

Veterans listed training to qualify under Korean GI Bill

Veterans must list their previous training and experience on the application form so VA can determine whether they are already qualified for the courses they apply for under the Korean GI Bill. VA says rules aim to set standard for eligibility and not to deny training to those seeking to reach their life goals.
