The Grand Junction sentinel reports a detailed plan to connect Colorado Midland with Uintah railroad and extend toward Salt Lake City via a Midland Uintah combination. The piece argues Grand Junction should host a terminal, potentially gaining major rail gateway status and ties to Burlington interests, with surveys for a tunnel at Banter Hill.
The United States Land Office in Feral Utah announces State of Utah List No 54 with lands selected under treaties approved July etc. Public protests against entries may be filed within five weeks.
