Antone Appawoo and Irene Cuch will contest the Uintah seat with Manning and Ouray McCook for the Uncompahgre post. General Election set for April 8 with polls in five communities.

Lower Colorado River Runoff Forecast 28 Percent Of Normal
The April to July 1977 runoff above Lake Powell is projected at 2.2 million acre feet, about 28 percent of normal, based on March 1 snowpack data. Local teen joins delayed enlistment in Air Force
Stacey Lee Fletcher age 22 has sworn into the United States Air Force Delayed Enlistment Program. He and his wife Serena reside in Provo and his parents Mr and Mrs Terry Fletcher live in Vernal. A 1972 Uintah High School graduate, Stacey will leave May 16 for basic training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio Texas.

Mountain Fuel to contest Gary Operating Co. suit
