The Grizzly Ridge snow carnival Sunday drew a large crowd and 30 plus contestants. Winners included Vickie Calder and Sheryl Calder in junior girls and junior boys Doug Ross. Senior winners Colleen Hammond and Gerry Preece. senior boys Gary Tassainer and Ron Murry. Dick Ross fell twice but won the downhill. Junior Ski Club staged lighted snake dances after dusk with flaming flares and unique acts. Trophies donated by local merchants.
