Ellis Caldwell Sr was honored at his home February 20 for his 80th birthday observed February 19. Born 1869 in Chicken Creek Juab County Utah, he is a father of eight with 19 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He helped deliver the first mail to Price in 1886 at age 16 after a contract under Ed Guyman and Oscar Crandall, making a notable pioneer journey to Vernal via Brooks Station and Gate Canyon.
