Lee Webb of Vernal Utah has applied to appropriate one set of water from split Mountain Hot Springs in Uintah county Utah. The intake location is described from Sec 24 T 48 R 23 E and the water will be piped 16380 feet for bathing use and returned to the stream. The State Engineer designates the application as No 5213 with a $100 fee and requires an affidavit of reasons within thirty days after publication. First publication Feb 16 1923. Completion Mar 16 1923.

Verbal witnesses listed E J Longhurst Adie Longhurst George E Pops Hattie Pope. Publication dates February 16 1923 and March 16 1823.
A Theodore Johnson of Vernal Utah filed to prove up a 160 acre enlarged homestead entry. He named witnesses Ernest Eaton John Quilles Albert McGocherny and Archie Johnson. The final proof date is March 30 1923 before the Vernal Utah land office.

Watson Oil Company of Uintah County Utah applies for patent for Earley No 24 26 27 28 Oil Shale Placer Claims in Uintah County Utah. Claims cover NE small parts of Section 17 and NW SW etc totaling 720 acres across Township 11 South Range 2 East Salt Lake Meridian. Plats show on file at Vernal Utah U S Land Office and Uintah County Recorder Book 4 3 pages 142 to 144.
