Polio Clinics Set for Central School and Todd School
Polio vaccination clinics will be held at Central School on Tuesday evening from 6 to 7 and at Todd School on Thursday, June 27, from 7 to 9. Health nurse Mia Alta Rust urges attendance for first, second, or third shots and notes second doses are due for residents near Todd, Alta, and Union High.

Henderson Attends Oil and Gas Compact Meeting
C R Henderson and Mrs Henderson attended the National Oil and Gas Compact Commission meeting at Yellowstone Park last week. Henderson was named personal representative of the Utah governor on the commission. Utah joined as the 28th member, welcomed by governors of Oklahoma Wyoming Colorado and Montana. The group aims to conserve oil and gas and coordinate development without federal control. The next meeting is in Tulsa on December 2 with a Salt Lake City summer session to follow. Juvenile crime has risen about twice the rate of juvenile population growth. US oil output remains exceedingly high relative to world population.

Al Stewart Takes Over East Main Street Service Station
Al Stewart of Verna took over management of the former Gulf Oil Co. service station at 605 East Main, now Sinclair Oil Co, announced Sinclair rep Dean D Baxter. The station east of Turner Building Supply will carry Sinclair and Goodyear products and diesel oil, with Stewart living in Verna for 12 years and six years in the business. He is married to Donna Vespoy of Craig and they have three children.

Pope has attended BYU for two years and was active in speech and diagnostics. member of Theta Alpha Phi. served as speech and drama director of the 3rd Ward and graduated from Utah High School in 1855.
