The Union Basin Medical Association met Sunday at Duchesne with Dr FP Murray as host. Mr and Mrs Lynne Ashton retired Tuesday from Salt Lake City, and Mrs M Brown of Los Angeles, sister of Mr Ashton, returned with them.

Funeral services for Isaac Nelson were held at Maeser Chapel with Bishopric oversight and a program including vocal selections, a duet, and readings. Funeral services held at Manila for drowning infant
Funeral services were held Tuesday at 4 o'clock in the Manila ward LDS chapel for one year old Darrel Walker, son of Mr and Mrs Owen Walker of Manila, who drowned in a can near his home Monday afternoon. Surviving are his parents and grandparents, Mr and Mrs Frank Adamson, with Vernal ties.
