City County Building Plans Get Go Ahead
A joint city county committee approved a federal aid application to plan and specify a new city and county building. Architects Charles C and Rogers Woods of Salt Lake City will work with Kay Riegele firms. Preliminary plans show a two story building with a 196 foot front and wings for police sheriff fire and jail offices plus a public Notary.

Glines Lumber Project Nears Completion
Members of the Glines ward priesthood finish hauling 100 geo board feet of timber from a mountain for the new chapel. They use five tractors four teams and three trucks. The modern chapel will cost 70 000 with the ward’s share 35 060 of which 15 000 has been raised. The building measures 130 by 162 feet and will include two wings with a recreation hall 16 classrooms a Scout room a Relief Society room and a Kindergarten room. Construction is planned to start once authority arrives and may begin this fall or next spring with ward farmers aiding in winter work.

Navy discharge for JGE Murray son of Shoemaker man

Landowners See Results of 2 40 Weed Spray
