The first daughter arrived July 4 at the local hospital. Rulon Anderson spent the weekend with family. Irvin Simper and wife traveled to Holiday to see his parents. Local meeting featured speakers Mark Pope David Roberts Ted Thacker and Bishop Evans. A piano trio performed and recreation hour followed.

Wilford Olsen came back from Salt Lake City after his baby underwent an operation. Mrs Olsen will stay there until the child can be brought home. Ben Watkins and Flora spent a vacation in Southern Utah visiting Bryce and Zion Canyons and stayed two days in Huntington with the Cleo Evans family. Clarence Collett learning of his sister in law Mrs George Collett of Sandy died. he returned home Saturday for the funeral.

Ward Teaching District No. 5 and 20 sponsored a Sunday program by A. Don Batty with Martin Fletcher Dale Perry Gerald Caldwell, Mrs. Caldwell, Ruby Fife, and Jean Goodrich with Gwen Hollingworth in song.
