CAB Approves Merger of Monarch and Challenger Airlines
The Civil Aeronautics Board approved the merger of Monarch and Challenger Airlines and recommended extending the southwestern system from Gallup New Mexico to Winslow Arizona. Poisoner Sought as City Dogs Die in Vernal
A Vernal Utah police report says a suspect bought poison at local drugstores and is linked to the killing of 17 city dogs in the past five days. The suspect, Charles Green, is jailed on $100 bond with a trial set for Friday before Justice of the Peace Charles Has. City officials warn the danger to children and animals and a petition by dog owners has been filed in Vernal City.
