Cattle Feeding Meeting Set Here Monday
Uintah County agents announce a 7:30 p.m. Monday meeting at the Uintah County building to discuss supplemental feeding and cattle management. Kay R. Bendixsen notes that feeding every fourth day can match daily supplementation under some conditions. A steer drawing by Uintah Cattle men's Association, donated by Harry Hill and fattened by Hugh Colton, will be held. winners need not be present. Also scheduled is the Range Evaluation Course on Tuesday at 7 p.m. with BLM staffers presenting the method for range evaluation for sheep and cattle operators.

Uintah teams sweep with double figure scorers in win
The Uintah high school squads posted a 83 41 win with ten players in double figures. The junior varsity also won 3 27 over Visiter s. In Craig Colorado the Utes topped Fat County High 76 70 with five players in double figures and Eddie Oaks hitting a half court shot at the final buzzer. Junior varsity followed with a 61 59 victory as four starters fouled out. Duchesne and Unton won league games while Manila and Altamont also notched wins. A wrestling meet with Wasatch High is set for Saturday Jan 11 with Craig and Union matches following mid January.

Three state Cutter Race eyed for Burns Beach site
County officials discuss expanding industrial development funds for a Cutter Race planned February 14 and 15. Chairman Rulon Hacking says about 80 teams may enter this three state event, staying several days, with the old Burns Beach airport or the fairgrounds barn proposed as housing options. The Chamber backs the project and offers support services.

Coon of Vernal a daughter Mrs Richard H Winifred Brown of Holse thirteen grandchildren and five brothers Roy Joe Harold Buncow Oxford Ned Guy Buncow Denver and Lyle Blincow of Worland Wyoming. Mrs Coon belonged to the Order of Eastern Star. Memorials to Shriners Crippled Children's Hospital Salt Lake City are suggested.
