The Vernal 2nd Ward hosted multiple Christmas activities in December. The Relief Society organized an all day meeting with decorations, crafts, and a bazaar lunch. a second bazaar dinner by the Relief Society president Eloise Tuhner followed. The Sunday School presented a Christmas program with narrations, songs, and flowered choirs. A Christmas Eve party featured carols, a pageant, and a Spirit of Christmas performance led by Donna Nelson, Adele Trottier, and Melba Sargent, with various soloists and choirs. Bishop Lynn Murdock attended.
