Private Willam Cutch, son of Charley and Mrs. Cutch of Whiterocks Utah, begins eight week boot camp at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego after enlisting in Salt Lake City. Six Year Old Struck by Car in Vernal
Six year old Danny Sundquist was struck by a passing automobile at West and Main at 11:20 a.m. last Friday. Driver Edward Corless, 42, Vernal, failed to stop as the boy darted into the street. He rode on the bumper about 10 feet before being taken to the hospital for foot abrasions and slight shock. Danny is the son of Mr and Mrs Hatch Sundquist of Vernal.

Driver Rolls Truck East of Jensen In Utah Crash
A 26 year old Vernal driver escaped with minor injuries Thursday afternoon when his 1952 pickup rolled after leaving the pavement on U S Highway 40 about fourteen miles east of Jensen. The vehicle left the road and rolled onto its top. Damage was about 700 dollars. Sgt. Jamny Hatch logged the incident and officer Murray was cited for failing to stay under proper control.
