Library Board Backs Separate Building for Vernal Library
The Vernal City Library Board voted to pursue a separate building rather than a shared county facility. They said a standalone site would allow future expansion as finances permit. A one mill county levy for two years could raise about 30 600 to start the project. Mrs Leora Jacobi received a 100 gift for reference books, and new chairs and tables worth about 1 000 were ordered from Salt Lake City. Mrs Hilda Morgan was approved as assistant librarian replacing Mrs Lois Daw. The 1958 library report was reviewed.
