Funeral services for Leona Colton held in Vernal
Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Second Ward chapel for Leona Sewards Colton born June 29 1894 Vernal Utah died February 15 after a brief illness. Eulogies praised her musical talent including work in New York San Jose and Vernal. Buried beside sister Ethylene at the North Gib son ranch cemetery. She leaves two sons Lyford and Milo parents N G and Mara Gibson Sewards and siblings Carl Leland Shirley Orvil Vaughan and Mary.

Funeral services for Marforr Fue Rice, talented young daughter of Afr meh Mrs W T Rice, were held at Holy Spirit Episcopal church in Barnchett on February 15. Rev W J Howes officiated assisted by Father Tal bot of Whiterocks. The service featured music by students of Whiterock Indian School. Marion Rice died Thursday night just before her tenth birthday.
