Two men from Hill Creek were wounded in a Monday afternoon quarrel at the Aviares home. Ben Morris and George Aviares were treated in Vernal hospital after Morris fired at Aviares, then Aviares shot Morris in the stomach area and a guard fired further shots. Delbert Scharno and a Greek helped transport the injured to Vernal.
