Curious Rock Drill Hole Hints At Ancient Tech In Mt Pleasant
A resident in Mt Pleasant, Elisha Grandon, drilled a well about thirty feet deep and uncovered a rock with a drilled hole and unexploded tamping powder. The rock’s origin remains a mystery amid layered washed rock and cement. Separately near Manti, a hot air cave with roaring earth sounds and flame bursts attracts visitors, with a planned cavern complex featuring mirrors and skeletal figures to create dizzying illusions.
