Mrs Henry Nash celebrates a fine baby girl born Sunday December 20 at the home of Mr and Mrs Luther Swett. Mrs Fred Feltch remains in Denver hospital improving and expects to return home soon. John Karregg and John Broadwater travel to Salt Lake City in a Ford coupe bought by Mr Karren. a government truck wrecked it with no injuries. Flowers and produce arrive from San Bernardino for Mrs Nash from her sister Mrs John Evans. Dry Fork family moves into George Barker residence for the winter. A Mutual New Year’s Eve play titled Aaron Sick from Pumpkin Creek will be performed at the schoolhouse.

The Basin highway project advances as Duchesne county agrees to pay 24000 and Uintah county 39000 with utilities and encumbrances covered by seed funds. The county will cover title and right of way costs, with $2500 allotted for culvert installation within Basine City. Work proceeds rapidly to obtain rights of way.
