Bureau Verifies Contract Bid For Dam Access Road
The Bureau of Reclamation verified a 243,913 dollar contract awarded to Wangspard Construction Company for the Linwood to Flaming Gorge dam access road. Logan company submitted the low bid for the first 7.5 miles including 4 miles of new road and a 340 foot Green River bridge. In the Dry Fork area a half mile of the washed out Dry Fork road was rebuilt and one mile paved from the Forest line toward Dry Fork. Further road work is planned in the coming year to continue improvements on this route.
