Red Wash field marks nine years of growth from Wildcat Well Red Wash Unit No 1 to a daily output near 10 000 barrels from about 100 wells. Operations rely on Green River oil, keep Red Wash hot for transport to Salt Lake, then to Pacific Northwest markets. Enhanced by gas injection and hydraulic fracturing, the field uses four 120 horsepower compressors to maintain pressure, with a central compressor plant and a 43-person workforce plus contractors.
