Miss Donna Lou Trujillo and Howard McKowen wed Nov 25 in Tridel with Bishop H LeRoy Morrill officiating at the bride’s home. The bride wore cream satin with lace and carried pink and white carnations. sister Inez Trujillo was bridesmaid in aqua blue chiffon. Ken McKowen served as best man. Family and friends attended a cake and ice cream reception afterward.

Hubers Host Housewarming Night With Friendly Prizes
Mr and Mrs Lynn Huber entertained friends at a housewarming Friday evening in their new home. Guests included Mr and Mrs Elroy Walker and other members of the community. A light supper followed the games with prizes awarded to the host and booby prize to Mr Flrey Walker.
BPW Club Meet December 7
Business and Professional Women club held its December meeting in the Uintad State Bank directors room. President Winona Massey presided as seven members heard a two part program by Mrs Pearl Shaffer and Mrs Edith Allen on Bread and Butter Sidelines for Women. Massey excused at 8 for Jaycees banquet at Hotel Vernal.

One of the highlights of the holiday social scan is the annual stake M Men Gleaner Girl banquet at the Stake center Thursday evening Dec 29 at 730 pm The theme Fifty Years of Fun and Fancy Decorations and the toast will focus on this idea Dancing to the Hendlesbach orchestra ends the evening. Women’s Council dispose of white elephants event
On November 30 Mrs C J Neal hosted a White Elephant party with Mrs J M Francke as hostess. Tea and Canasta followed while the elephants were disposed of. Proceeds fund decoration of the Women’s Council room at St Paul’s Episcopal church lodge and Uintah Basin hospital. The next meeting is December 14 at the lodge.

Couple to be Feted at Open House
Mr and Mrs Charles W Mc Conkie invite relatives and friends to open house December 18 at the home of their daughter Mrs Clark Jones. The event honors Mrs Mc Conkie for her 16th and Mr McConkie for his 80th birthday anniversaries. Guests may offer congratulations between 12 and 5 p.m. The couple will have been married 58 years on March 1 1950. Their birth dates are December 18 and 21.
