Three Legged Bear Mortally Wounded by Hunter Hall
Joseph Hall of John Hacking camp on Baldy mountain killed a three legged grizzly, a feat perhaps unseen before. The bear fed on mutton and attacked Hall's flock, killing two sheep before Hall tracked it down. The carcass showed only one hind leg with no sign of a missing limb, suggesting the bear was born with three legs.

Provo Chauffeur Reports Road Fixes for Vernal Trip
Frank Ramsey of Provo drove a Forch car to Vernal with John Thurgood Harry Heal and John Gilbert traveling for Provo houses.
